In the 30th minute Abelardo Cloyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Trombetta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The tension between the Los Potrillos and the UNLIMITED players grew even worse after the yellow card. Los Potrillos's Filiberto Figueroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Castrucci in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Amerigo Salvagnin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UNLIMITED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. UNLIMITED's Cosimo Renzetti got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosimo Renzetti struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Filiberto Figueroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UNLIMITED. Amerigo Salvagnin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Filiberto Figueroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. UNLIMITED walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
