The DUBAI Palm Jumeirah fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Moath Al Ansari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Cordeara made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Moath Al Ansari sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute Jorge Porres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaheen Al Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isidro Incendio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Cordeara was a little too slow when Moath Al Ansari got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Jorge Porres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moath Al Ansari hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Moath Al Ansari slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benjamin Cordeara. That made the score 3-0 after 40 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jorge Porres made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Moath Al Ansari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Cordeara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. If Moath Al Ansari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamin Cordeara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moath Al Ansari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes of play, Kilometro 30's Jorge Porres made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shaheen Al Ali was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Moath Al Ansari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moath Al Ansari in the 73rd minute of play forced Kilometro 30's goalkeeper Benjamin Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Kilometro 30 booed when DUBAI Palm Jumeirah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maitham Al Hajraf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Beltran struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Shaheen Al Ali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilometro 30. Isidro Incendio took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shaheen Al Ali. Shaheen Al Ali dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 92nd minute Moath Al Ansari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Cordeara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jorge Porres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilometro 30's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Porres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shaheen Al Ali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
