When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Nemesio Tabb sped through VARGINHA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gabriel Medeiros. Gabriel Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Isidoro Senon sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Ado hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Iván Kuzmenko hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Nemesio Tabb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Senon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Gabriel Medeiros made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nemesio Tabb made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, VARGINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Tabb came free, but Gabriel Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cido Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Nemesio Tabb in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Jeronimo Abella got control of the ball when Denílson Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute Nemesio Tabb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, VARGINHA FC's Adalberto Pinho got a free kick in the 72nd minute. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Isidoro Senon got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. VARGINHA FC's Gabriel Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Senon in the 75th minute of play. Gabriel Medeiros came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Isidoro Senon. But to his dismay, Isidoro Senon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. VARGINHA FC's Gabriel Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Tabb in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Cristian Ado got a free kick in the 82nd minute. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Paulão Nóbrega 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. Denílson Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of VARGINHA FC booed when INDEPENDIENTE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Nesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. VARGINHA FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
