The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE F.C. booed when DUBAI Palm Jumeirah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bader Al Jalahma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Senon took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shaheen Al Ali. Shaheen Al Ali dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Shaheen Al Ali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Tabb, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Maitham Al Hajraf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INDEPENDIENTE F.C. the free kick. Maitham Al Hajraf hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Tabb in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shaheen Al Ali saved DUBAI Palm Jumeirah from getting behind. After 28 minutes of play, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Moath Al Ansari made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeronimo Abella was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bader Al Jalahma hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Nemesio Tabb took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Shaheen Al Ali to make any attempt to save it. Moath Al Ansari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Abella having to interfere. In the 45th minute, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Nemesio Tabb dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1.

52 minutes into the match, Nemesio Tabb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shaheen Al Ali. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Tabb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Moath Al Ansari's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Jeronimo Abella skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Moath Al Ansari blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeronimo Abella having to make a save. After a rather tough play, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Bader Al Jalahma got a free kick in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the game, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Nemesio Tabb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shaheen Al Ali made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 72 minutes into the match, Marcelino Mano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shaheen Al Ali. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelino Mano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. In the 76th minute Hernan Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaheen Al Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shaheen Al Ali didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Senon went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Shaheen Al Ali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Senon, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Sami Al Balool kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. INDEPENDIENTE F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
