In the 20th minute Guilherme do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Trombetta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The UNLIMITED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damiano Trombetta should have stopped the shot. A collision led to UNLIMITED getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cosimo Renzetti hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, one of UNLIMITED:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UNLIMITED. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for VARGINHA FC. Paulão Nóbrega stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Damiano Trombetta. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in VARGINHA FC's zone, Amerigo Salvagnin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Medeiros came out of the goal and Amerigo Salvagnin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Amerigo Salvagnin made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Amerigo Salvagnin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UNLIMITED's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VARGINHA FC the free kick. When the match was over VARGINHA FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than UNLIMITED throughout the match.
