In the 26th minute, Marcus Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Filiberto Figueroa. Los Potrillos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 31 minutes, Marcus Gomes made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Los Potrillos's Filiberto Figueroa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Cloyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fiori Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Figueroa having to interfere. Filiberto Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiori Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Fiori Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
