Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Isidoro Senon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Vianna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jeronimo Abella came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Vianna slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Eliseu Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Senon in the 9th minute of play. Valdomiro Souto struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Jeronimo Abella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Encanto. After a defensive mix-up in INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s zone, Manuel Vianna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Abella came out of the goal and Manuel Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Jeronimo Abella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Vianna in the 20th minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Nemesio Tabb made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Tasso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the match, Nemesio Tabb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseu Tasso. Encanto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Tabb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Isidoro Senon might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseu Tasso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Senon ran back to his position shaking his head. Chicão Valle's late challenge caught a INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chicão Valle helped the player get up and apologised. Chicão Valle hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Nemesio Tabb got in the 38th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Eliseu Tasso handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After some careless play in the Encanto defense, Isidoro Senon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseu Tasso. The Encanto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseu Tasso should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Nemesio Tabb made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caio Vidal during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Encanto getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Caio Vidal hit a great ball. Isidoro Senon in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eliseu Tasso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 56th minute, Isidoro Senon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseu Tasso made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Isidoro Senon sent off a good shot on target. Eliseu Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Tabb, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Eliseu Tasso was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Nemesio Tabb capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nemesio Tabb really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Nemesio Tabb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Tasso having to interfere. If Isidoro Senon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Manuel Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Abella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes Encanto got a freekick which was hit by Nico Palmeira. Eliseu Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Senon in the 96th minute. When the match was over INDEPENDIENTE F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Encanto throughout the match.
