In the 12thth minute of the game Dinu Bocu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico ALMA's German Paez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 13 minutes, Osvaldo Guilabertus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico ALMA and the Hamburg Fighters players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Atletico ALMA got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Guilabertus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Bocu in the 14th minute of play forced Atletico ALMA's goalkeeper German Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. German Paez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Bocu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Dinu Bocu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. German Paez was a little too slow when Dinu Bocu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 46th minute Pastor Artal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavlos Konstantakakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

German Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valerian Podlich in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Hamburg Fighters were awarded a corner.
