An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Iyan in the 11th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Stefan Orlicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tigre's Stefan Orlicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Cheche in the 14th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Modesto Cheche got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stefan Orlicki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Stefan Orlicki came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Juventud Unida's Rainer Marthaler. But to his dismay, Rainer Marthaler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Emil Arendarski made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Sergio Cordareo sent off a good shot on target. The Tigre players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CA Juventud Unida were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rainer Marthaler to strike the kick off in the second half. Stefan Orlicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Petrigai in the 52nd minute of the match. When Sergio Cordareo came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Tigre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Cordareo couldn't finish the play. When Tigre's Justo Lore in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rainer Marthaler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saverio Petrigai scored 0-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Orlicki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emil Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Masao Koriotto in the 81st minute of the match. The supporters of Tigre booed when CA Juventud Unida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. The CA Juventud Unida players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
