Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiliam Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. German Paez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiliam Perez's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletico ALMA's Juan Quinteros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Charles de Brito. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. German Paez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. German Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Wiliam Perez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. German Paez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 21 minutes of play, Atlético Capixaba's Wiliam Perez made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Paez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wiliam Perez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without German Paez having to make a save. Atletico ALMA's German Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Perez in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Wiliam Perez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but German Paez was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Maraman in the 31st minute of play forced Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Charles de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. German Paez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Perez in the 34th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Atletico ALMA defense, Ernani Vargas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of German Paez. The Atletico ALMA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that German Paez should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Quinteros to strike the kick off in the second half. German Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Perez in the 53rd minute of play. If Wiliam Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico ALMA's zone, Wiliam Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Paez came out of the goal and Wiliam Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wiliam Perez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without German Paez having to make a save. With a little luck, Atletico ALMA's German Paez got control of the ball when Wiliam Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Marz during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atletico ALMA's Teodoro Marz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Atlético Capixaba made a substitution. Fu Jun Feng replaced Ernani Vargas. Atlético Capixaba's Adam Curteanu was substituted for Faustão Sá. In the 64th minute, Teodoro Marz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Otto Fesik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving German Paez. That made the score 1-5 in the 67 minute of play. Atletico ALMA's German Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Fesik in the 72nd minute of play. After 84 played minutes Otto Fesik rounded Atletico ALMA's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-6. Otto Fesik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. German Paez came out and tried to block the shot, but Otto Fesik slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 88th minute. After 91 played minutes Atletico ALMA got a freekick which was hit by Jose Tartalo. After a rather tough play, Atletico ALMA's Haroldo Hernandez got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the match was over Atlético Capixaba could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atletico ALMA throughout the match.
