With an extended leg and a bit of luck Korneliusz Rasimowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celedonio Ugaitz during the 24th minute. Tigre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Ortegano the free kick. A collision led to Tigre getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Pedro Aparecido hit a great ball. With a little luck, Tigre's Desiderio Lauaxeta got control of the ball when Jan Koller tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Tigre defense, Nicasio Guipuzcoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desiderio Lauaxeta. The Tigre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Lauaxeta should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tigre's goalkeeper Desiderio Lauaxeta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Korneliusz Rasimowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwyn Lawson in the 67th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Tigre got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Arce. After a rather tough play, Tigre's Eusebio Arce got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Jan Koller came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Deportivo Ortegano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Koller couldn't finish the play. Korneliusz Rasimowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Lore in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Rojelio in the 83rd minute of play forced Deportivo Ortegano's goalkeeper Korneliusz Rasimowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Jan Koller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tigre's Desiderio Lauaxeta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Koller in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Lauaxeta saved Tigre from getting behind. Jan Koller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Lauaxeta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
