After 17 played minutes Hungarian Olympic got a freekick which was hit by Alan Paes. In the 19th minute, Miladin Kirichev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungarian Olympic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Edmund Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Hungarian Olympic's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Perez came free, but Lukács Bánhegyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungarian Olympic's Lukács Bánhegyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Perez in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Perez in the 29th minute of play forced Hungarian Olympic's goalkeeper Lukács Bánhegyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Charles de Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmund Eliasson. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Belarmo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Eliasson in the 54th minute of play forced Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Charles de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Atlético Capixaba's Lukács Bánhegyi threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wiliam Perez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hungarian Olympic had played much better football throughout.
