The referee showed Qian Wei Chao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Westbam got a freekick which was hit by Qian Wei Chao. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miladin Kirichev in the 14th minute of play forced Westbam's goalkeeper Tony Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miladin Kirichev hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The Hungarian Olympic fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Hungarian Olympic's Ernesto Belarmo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 24 minutes into the match, Westbam's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Belarmo came free, but Tony Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Miladin Kirichev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tony Arruda was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The supporters of Hungarian Olympic booed when Westbam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Belarmo in the 35th minute of the match. Hungarian Olympic's Lukács Bánhegyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qian Wei Chao in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
50 minutes into the match, Hungarian Olympic's Ernesto Belarmo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Arruda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56thth minute of the game Ernesto Belarmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westbam's Tony Arruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Hungarian Olympic's Ernesto Belarmo made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Arruda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Westbam defense, Miladin Kirichev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Arruda. The Westbam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Arruda should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Westbam's goal looked a bit too open when Miladin Kirichev came free, but Tony Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Ernesto Belarmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westbam's Tony Arruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
