Cafu Mandrak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Leo Rosio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edvaldo Miranda's late challenge caught a Angua FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edvaldo Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Edvaldo Miranda hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes SAS got a freekick which was hit by Roger Tasso. 27 minutes into the game, Ivan Esiquio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Lúcio Rodrigues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, SAS's Cafu Mandrak got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of Angua FC booed when SAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Angua FC's Vicente Emesto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lúcio Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Dadá Branco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Angua FC the free kick. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beto Maia to make the kick off. Gogo Burutzagi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lúcio Rodrigues firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Burutzagi got free with Lúcio Rodrigues in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lúcio Rodrigues was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Gogo Burutzagi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gogo Burutzagi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernan Bartoli got free with Lúcio Rodrigues in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, SAS's Lúcio Rodrigues got control of the ball when Gogo Burutzagi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Dudu de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SAS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ivan Esiquio 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Angua FC's Ciro Dolfos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lúcio Rodrigues. That made the score 0-9 after 85 minutes of play. If Gogo Burutzagi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, SAS's Dudu de Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leo Rosio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Angua FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
