MAFFIAN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Howling Dawn U18 the free kick. After a rather tough play, MAFFIAN's George Svensson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Axl Rose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 7 in the game by Thomas Wassberg from a close distance when the talented Santos Hori managed to make a qualified save. Howling Dawn U18's players were relieved. Howling Dawn U18's Santos Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Svensson in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute MAFFIAN were awarded a corner. Gunde Svan went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 10th minute of the match MAFFIAN got a corner. Howling Dawn U18's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gunde Svan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 11 minutes, Michel Kjellkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAFFIAN and the Howling Dawn U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Michel Kjellkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Vallin took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santos Hori. Santos Hori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 23rd minute Juan Bittor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aron Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Bittor in the 31st minute of the match. Howling Dawn U18's Santos Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Vallin in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Santos Hori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Vallin. Uriel Lauren hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Axl Rose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Axl Rose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axl Rose to make the kick off. After 58 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by George Svensson. George Svensson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Mogren in the 65th minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Santos Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MAFFIAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunde Svan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom got control of the ball when Astor Manilan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aron Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Manilan, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Baltasar Walme took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Dahlbom. Aron Dahlbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 95th minute, Godofredo Bordat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MAFFIAN's Gunde Svan got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
