In the 17th match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ola Norberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match Uriel Lauren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Per-Olof Walroth showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Per-Olof Walroth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerard Way went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Uriel Lauren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Per-Olof Walroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ola Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Uriel Lauren came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Howling Dawn U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Lauren couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Axl Rose made a precise shot to the right of Per-Olof Walroth. Strömsbro IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 45th match minute, Howling Dawn U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Belo to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Howling Dawn U18 were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Ildefonso Guter hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Axl Rose's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Olof Walroth was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. The Howling Dawn U18 fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Howling Dawn U18's Axl Rose looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axl Rose in the 76th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Per-Olof Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Howling Dawn U18's Scott Weiland was substituted for Axl Rose. Howling Dawn U18's Baltasar Walme was substituted for Gerard Way. Strömsbro IF's Per-Olof Walroth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Strömsbro IF from getting a goal against them. Jon Ivarsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Scott Weiland fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Per-Olof Walroth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Scott Weiland went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score.
