With a little luck, SAS's Lúcio Rodrigues got control of the ball when Pablo Lizzio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lúcio Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Gaitan in the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Dudu de Souza hit a great ball. The supporters of SAS booed when Cable a Tierra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Lizzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Gaitan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Lúcio Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinicio Gerazan charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinicio Gerazan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Maia in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dudu de Souza during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 34 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Branco came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Cosme Turi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lúcio Rodrigues. The goal made the score 1-0. 48 minutes into the match, Generoso Tavio notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of SAS's Lúcio Rodrigues. Lúcio Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo Lizzio was the one to do the kick off. Lúcio Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Lizzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Baltasar Gaitan sped through SAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lúcio Rodrigues. Nacho Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Germano Bertassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cable a Tierra the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Baltasar Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cable a Tierra's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Gaitan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lúcio Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Elixio. 66 minutes into the game, Cable a Tierra's Pablo Lizzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lúcio Rodrigues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 69th minute Baltasar Gaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lúcio Rodrigues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vinicio Gerazan went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Cable a Tierra made a substitution. Maximino Timo replaced Reynaldo Lauren. Cable a Tierra made a substitution. Angelo Erauso replaced Cosme Turi. 83 minutes into the game, Pablo Lizzio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Lúcio Rodrigues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the match, Pablo Lizzio notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of SAS's Lúcio Rodrigues. Lúcio Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 97th minute, Baltasar Gaitan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cable a Tierra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cable a Tierra fully deserved thier win.
