When Amílton Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 卡納里尼奧 FC's protests and gave Amílton Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. Amílton Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Célio Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in 卡納里尼奧 FC's zone, Saverio Chaime stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Vítor Guimarães came out of the goal and Saverio Chaime tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Vítor Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Chaime in the 11th minute. Leo Rosio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Damasceno in the 15th minute of the match. Fernan Bartoli kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Angua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Guedes came free, but Leo Rosio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Sidnei Dionísio got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes, Ivan Esiquio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angua FC and the 卡納里尼奧 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Angua FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ivan Esiquio hit a great ball. Angua FC's Leo Rosio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Alagoano in the 33rd minute of play. Angua FC's Saverio Chaime was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but João Vítor Guimarães in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leo Rosio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Damasceno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Dolfos hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Leo Rosio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Damasceno's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Damasceno made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Angua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Damasceno came free, but Leo Rosio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 played minutes Angua FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Blasco. 卡納里尼奧 FC made a substitution. Jefferson Maia replaced Agostinho Guedes. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Angua FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Severino da Cunha was slow to take the kick. During this time 卡納里尼奧 FC's players had a chance to rest. Vicente Emesto tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Leo Rosio. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 64th minute. Leo Rosio made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Eliseu Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. João Vítor Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Esiquio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Ivan Esiquio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Vítor Guimarães. 卡納里尼奧 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Esiquio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
