The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Gonçalo Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 4 played minutes, Angua FC's Fidel Bittor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Walmir Leme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Angua FC reached it. Arsenio Beat made in the 9th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gogo Burutzagi however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Esiquio in the 11th minute of play forced Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Walmir Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Esiquio came free, but Walmir Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walmir Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Burutzagi in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Angua FC booed when Lupere FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute of the match, Renan Quirino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leo Rosio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 31 minutes in the game Fidel Bittor did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Arsenio Beat. After 32 played minutes Lupere FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Mazza. 33 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Chaime came free, but Walmir Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Lupere FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ricardo Goiano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Esiquio in the 45th minute of play forced Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Walmir Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdo Mazza charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdo Mazza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Lupere FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Mazza. After recieving a nice pass, Angua FC's Saverio Chaime tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renan Quirino to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Renan Quirino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Angua FC's Leo Rosio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonçalo Baptista during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Walmir Leme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gogo Burutzagi in the 59th minute. In the 67th minute, Renan Quirino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Rosio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Renan Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walmir Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Dolfos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd match minute, Lupere FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Cristóvão Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Rosio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Rosio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Leo Rosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Quirino in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Angua FC's Fernan Bartoli got a free kick in the 96th minute. Lupere FC - DMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Angua FC for a fine match.
