In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 15 minutes of play, Howling Dawn U18's Gerard Way made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eliseu Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axl Rose, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 28 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axl Rose came free, but Eliseu Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerard Way hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Uriel Lauren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseu Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axl Rose in the 35th minute of play. In the 41st minute Juan Bittor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Axl Rose made a precise shot to the right of Eliseu Negri. New Loser FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axl Rose was the one to do the kick off.
