Ernani Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Alagoano in the 20th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Elias Damasceno made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernani Oliveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Glauco Abraão struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. João Vítor Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ≮王者归来≯News at 11. Régis Vides hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. João Vítor Guimarães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Dias's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The supporters of ≮王者归来≯News at 11 booed when 卡納里尼奧 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidnei Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Glauco Abraão to make the kick off. João Vítor Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Dias in the 53rd minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ≮王者归来≯News at 11 reached it. 卡納里尼奧 FC's João Vítor Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Dias in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Marco Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. ≮王者归来≯News at 11's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 85th minute, Abel Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Varela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Domingues couldn't finish the play. Agostinho Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Cléberson Santana got a free kick in the 95th minute. The 卡納里尼奧 FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 卡納里尼奧 FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
