Thomas Wassberg started the match with the kick off. 12 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinicio Gerazan. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Gerazan in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MAFFIAN's Gunde Svan got a free kick in the 18th minute. Aron Dahlbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo Lizzio in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the game, Kristoffer Nyberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAFFIAN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cable a Tierra the free kick. Kristoffer Nyberg kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Gunde Svan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Pablo Lizzio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom. Aron Dahlbom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pablo Lizzio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Generoso Tavio during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Cable a Tierra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Tavio to maneuver through the defense. Nacho Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Nyman in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Alex Vallin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nacho Gonzalez, 1-1. In the 58th minute Baltasar Gaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MAFFIAN's Dennis Edström was substituted for George Svensson. MAFFIAN's Torgny Mogren was substituted for Thomas Wassberg. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greger Broberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Lizzio came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Cable a Tierra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Gaitan to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunde Svan to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the MAFFIAN defense, Baltasar Gaitan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aron Dahlbom. The MAFFIAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aron Dahlbom should have stopped the shot. Cable a Tierra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Torgny Mogren scored to the left of an out of position Nacho Gonzalez, making the score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Mogren in the 83rd minute of play forced Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Nacho Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Gerazan in the 94th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
