After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Germano Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano Bertassi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Vítor Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Germano Bertassi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Vítor Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beto Maia made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Abel Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Damasceno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 66 minutes into the match, SAS's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Maia came free, but Lúcio Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lúcio Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Damasceno, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Dadá Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 卡納里尼奧 FC made a substitution. Severino da Cunha replaced Sidnei Dionísio. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Armandinho Pombal was substituted for Régis Vides. After a rather tough play, SAS's Dadá Branco got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Lúcio Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Damasceno in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lúcio Rodrigues saved SAS from getting behind. 87 minutes into the game, Elias Damasceno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Lúcio Rodrigues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severino da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Rodrigues having to interfere. 卡納里尼奧 FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
