Angua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Esiquio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Pasqua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gogo Burutzagi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Martin Pasqua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Leo Rosio threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christopher Riverol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jaunzuria Azpeitia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gayand Pombo made a kick off. Chivos de Punto Fijo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
