Cosme Turi's late challenge caught a Lupere FC - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A collision led to Lupere FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Dalmo Linhares hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Cristóvão Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute of the match Baldomero Gaitan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walmir Leme skillfully saved the ball. The Cable a Tierra players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lupere FC - DMZ were winning 0-1.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltasar Gaitan in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walmir Leme saved Lupere FC - DMZ from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Reynaldo Lauren in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lupere FC - DMZ's Cristóvão Alves. Serginho de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Walmir Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Lizzio in the 57th minute of the match. Walmir Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Gerazan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 61 played minutes Lupere FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Quirino. In the 65th match minute, Lupere FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitório Quirino to maneuver through the defense. Cable a Tierra made a substitution. Angelo Erauso replaced Cosme Turi. Vitório Quirino hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's Baldomero Gaitan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walmir Leme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cable a Tierra's zone, Gonçalo Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nacho Gonzalez came out of the goal and Gonçalo Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristóvão Alves hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Gaitan came free, but Walmir Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gonçalo Baptista kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nacho Gonzalez. That made the score 0-2 in the 79 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Juarês Bastos got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Walmir Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Elixio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Ricardo Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Cable a Tierra supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lupere FC - DMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Lupere FC - DMZ.
