After 19 minutes Strömsbro IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sven Bållström who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Sven Bållström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Strömsbro IF's Per-Olof Walroth did a great save. Per-Olof Walroth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars-Erik Ivarsson's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The audience was convinced that Charles Lenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Olof Walroth was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Per-Olof Walroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Ivarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Ove Fernkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Olof Walroth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Ove Fernkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Per-Olof Walroth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sven Bållström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Kingpins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Ove Fernkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Mikael Ekeberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Strömsbro IF's Per-Olof Walroth got control of the ball when Mikael Ekeberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Mikael Ekeberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Per-Olof Walroth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Strömsbro IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kingpins were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
