To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodriguinho Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Wassberg in the 17th minute. Aron Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Mathias Sabóia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAFFIAN the free kick. After 37 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Wassberg. 42 minutes into the match, Gunde Svan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodriguinho Ramalho, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Wassberg was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Östen Vennersten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rodriguinho Ramalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Wassberg in the 59th minute of play forced Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basílio Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. MAFFIAN's Torgny Mogren was substituted for Thomas Wassberg. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Rodriguinho Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Edström in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Gunde Svan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Mogren came free, but Rodriguinho Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Beto Martini MZ 20 years defense, Torgny Mogren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodriguinho Ramalho. The Beto Martini MZ 20 years fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodriguinho Ramalho should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MAFFIAN had won after a very even match.
