Gogo Burutzagi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Lúcio Rodrigues when he managed to save the team from getting behind. SAS's Lúcio Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save SAS from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Gogo Burutzagi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lúcio Rodrigues was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Angua FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SAS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
