Jean Donato made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Cafu Mandrak sent off a good shot on target. In the 6th minute, Dudu de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 played minutes Milan da Freguesia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Cearense. 13 minutes into the match, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalkeeper Jean Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germano Bertassi. Lúcio Rodrigues came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Dorival Viana. But to his dismay, Dorival Viana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th match minute, Milan da Freguesia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Jean Donato made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Germano Bertassi sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inácio de Lima during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Inácio de Lima got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Elias Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilmar Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Germano Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elias Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Donato having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, SAS's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Viana came free, but Lúcio Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SAS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Milan da Freguesia F.C. were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Luís Lima was the one to do the kick off. SAS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pedro Luís Lima 51 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Lúcio Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Viana in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Roger Tasso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Milan da Freguesia F.C. the free kick. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Adhemar de Andrade was substituted for Dorival Viana. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Roger Tasso hit a great ball. Germano Bertassi's late challenge caught a Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Germano Bertassi helped the player get up and apologised. 67 minutes into the game, one of SAS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 72nd minute, Germano Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inácio de Lima hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Jean Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of SAS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Milan da Freguesia F.C.:s goal. Lúcio Rodrigues was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Adhemar de Andrade capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adhemar de Andrade really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Pedro Luís Lima's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lúcio Rodrigues firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Inácio de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio de Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lúcio Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Luís Lima's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 99thth minute, Lúcio Rodrigues skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The SAS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Milan da Freguesia F.C..
