Pedro Luís Lima started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Lars-Erik Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Kingpins's Harry Igelström fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Sven Bållström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. In the 17th minute of the match Milan da Freguesia F.C. got a corner. Kingpins's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nilmar Berger ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Nilmar Berger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mattias Asserlind quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute of the match, Pedro Luís Lima got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mattias Asserlind was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 19th minute Lars-Erik Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Bållström in the 23rd minute of play. Scipio Africano hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Nilmar Berger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mattias Asserlind narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Dorival Viana rounded Kingpins's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Jean Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Ivarsson in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Ivarsson came free, but Jean Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Charles Lenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalkeeper Jean Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars-Erik Ivarsson. Mikael Ekeberg took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean Donato. Jean Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Mikael Ekeberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Luís Lima scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mattias Asserlind, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal de Queiroz in the 65th minute of play forced Kingpins's goalkeeper Mattias Asserlind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Pedro Luís Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kingpins the free kick. The supporters of Kingpins booed when Milan da Freguesia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lars-Erik Ivarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Luís Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Mattias Asserlind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Ekeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean Donato came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Kingpins's Mikael Ekeberg. But to his dismay, Mikael Ekeberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Bållström got free with Jean Donato in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
