New Loser FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strömsbro IF the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Eliseu Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Hermansson in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute Luís Paulo Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Britto came free, but Per-Olof Walroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave Artur Abreu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Artur Abreu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Eliseu Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Billberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
