An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal de Queiroz in the 30th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Per-Olof Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Ivan Billberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Strömsbro IF's Ivan Billberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean Donato. Jean Donato yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jörn Hermansson to strike the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís Lima couldn't finish the play. Per-Olof Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Viana in the 89th minute of the match. Bebeto Cearense hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Jean Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Löfskog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when Milan da Freguesia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bebeto Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pedro Luís Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Milan da Freguesia F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
