Lúcio Rodrigues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Wassberg went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 9 minutes, Thomas Wassberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAFFIAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Wassberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Gunde Svan made a precise shot to the right of Lúcio Rodrigues. SAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Thomas Wassberg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Gunde Svan scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lúcio Rodrigues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SAS's Lúcio Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Vallin in the 26th minute of play. Lúcio Rodrigues came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by MAFFIAN's Alex Vallin. But to his dismay, Alex Vallin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 36 minutes into the match, SAS's goal looked a bit too open when Gunde Svan came free, but Lúcio Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lúcio Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunde Svan in the 38th minute of the match. Lúcio Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Wassberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Wassberg was the one to do the kick off. Lúcio Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Alex Vallin sent off a good shot on target. Thomas Wassberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Alex Vallin made a precise shot to the right of Lúcio Rodrigues. SAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 60th minute, Thomas Wassberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lúcio Rodrigues. The goal made the score 0-7. MAFFIAN's Dennis Edström was substituted for George Svensson. MAFFIAN's Torgny Mogren was substituted for Thomas Wassberg. Torgny Mogren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Lúcio Rodrigues skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 82nd minute, Alex Vallin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lúcio Rodrigues was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Vallin got free with Lúcio Rodrigues in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Cafu Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, MAFFIAN's Alex Vallin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lúcio Rodrigues. Lúcio Rodrigues yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Lúcio Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Torgny Mogren sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Mandrak came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu de Souza came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over MAFFIAN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SAS throughout the match.
