The audience thought a goal was coming when Renan Quirino got free with Lúcio Rodrigues in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lupere FC - DMZ were furious when Serginho de Andrade was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Serginho de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Juarês Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matías Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Walmir Leme acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dadá Branco. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Ricardo Goiano got a free kick in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the game, Lupere FC - DMZ's Renan Quirino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lúcio Rodrigues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Lúcio Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Bastos in the 79th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cafu Mandrak during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
