Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C Barak the free kick. The referee gave A.C Barak a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Spas Spitzmüller, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. 1-4. A.C Barak's Uğuralp Vasfi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save A.C Barak from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
