Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Mirel Kuli came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Paulo Romero came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mirel Kuli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mirel Kuli to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Cristian Sancho suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Paulo Dionísio during the 53rd minute. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agnaldo Araújo went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Marcelinho Costa. But to his dismay, Marcelinho Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
