Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of UÅ Mästerbotten booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, UÅ Mästerbotten's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Karl-Magnus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Magnus Ekrot came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Luca Zorita. But to his dismay, Luca Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Magnus Ekrot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Magnus Ekrot. UÅ Mästerbotten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Lindberg in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, UÅ Mästerbotten's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Karl-Magnus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Magnus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Martinsson in the 41st minute of play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Karl-Magnus Ekrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, UÅ Mästerbotten's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Karl-Magnus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Facundo Cadaval came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Facundo Cadaval couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Karl-Magnus Ekrot in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 53 played minutes Lautaro Mancebo rounded UÅ Mästerbotten's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. 56 minutes into the match, UÅ Mästerbotten's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Ekrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. 60 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when George Lindberg came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Karl-Magnus Ekrot in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind UÅ Mästerbotten's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Ekrot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th match minute, UÅ Mästerbotten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Oskar Månsson to maneuver through the defense. UÅ Mästerbotten's Karl-Magnus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 79th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Martinsson in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Karl-Oskar Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 91 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
