Juvenal Urbano hit a great ball. Jiang Yu Lin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 66th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Betinho Lenzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FALCÕES VERDES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. FALCÕES VERDES's Teodosio Leobardo was substituted for Dennis Maranzano. In the 93rdth minute of the game Betinho Lenzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 93 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FALCÕES VERDES fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
