In the 5th minute, Chiquinho Pombal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abutres 2003 FDP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 庄辉雄 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Thiago Pliego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Abutres 2003 FDP getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Qu Yao Yang hit a great ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 庄辉雄, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Figlewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Jan Figlewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Osvaldinho Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Chile's Orlando Casaus got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Figlewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquinho Pombal in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Malin Karolev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chiquinho Pombal went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 庄辉雄 was the one to do the kick off. Emmanuel Hinojosa made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Chiquinho Pombal however managed to control. With his leg Jan Figlewski managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by 庄辉雄 in the 61st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Jan Figlewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 70th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Abutres 2003 FDP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jan Figlewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, 庄辉雄 notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th match minute, Abutres 2003 FDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Hinojosa to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Pombal in the 87th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malin Karolev in the 91st minute of play. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 庄辉雄, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
