Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) USA's Cassius Byrne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Budianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Cassius Byrne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mihnea Plăcintă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luisinho Uribe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisinho Uribe in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luisinho Uribe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marco Day came out and tried to block the shot, but Luisinho Uribe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisinho Uribe. Mihnea Plăcintă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Luisinho Uribe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Day. The goal made the score 2-1. When Cassius Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. In the 37thth minute of the game Luisinho Uribe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihnea Plăcintă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 46th minute of play. After 47 minutes Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisinho Uribe was the one to do the kick off. Mihnea Plăcintă came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Cassius Byrne. But to his dismay, Cassius Byrne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. With a little luck, Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's Mihnea Plăcintă got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sam Campbell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Mihnea Plăcintă made a huge save. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Sam Campbell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's Mihnea Plăcintă got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Uribe in the 89th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Sam Campbell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mihnea Plăcintă, 3-3. Damian Budianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. USA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
