When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Orlando Casaus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alper Benli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurențiu Gaciu having to interfere. Wesley Sneijder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Laurențiu Gaciu made a huge save. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Cangeopol in the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Lacasa could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Laurențiu Gaciu however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mădălin Cangeopol in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wesley Sneijder in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. The corner led Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Mugur Cenușă to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Mariano Lacasa hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laurențiu Gaciu narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
