Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Pombal in the 14th minute of play. Demonde Jacobson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amador Menendo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match Finlay Stair shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amílton Dantas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luiz Gustavo Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Meia Praia's Amador Menendo. But to his dismay, Amador Menendo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 39th minute, Grêmio Meia Praia's Gino Pombal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Demonde Jacobson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Romon Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Finlay Stair made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Menendo came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grêmio Meia Praia were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Jamaica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Gustavo Dante took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Filipe Eanes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Romon Oliver hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Amador Menendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Grêmio Meia Praia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gino Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Amador Menendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Meia Praia's Amador Menendo. But to his dismay, Amador Menendo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jamaall Padmore during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamaall Padmore to maneuver through the defense. João Carlos Aguiar missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 67 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Demonde Jacobson right hand side. Finlay Stair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Gustavo Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Amador Menendo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio Meia Praia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When Luiz Gustavo Dante came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Grêmio Meia Praia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Gustavo Dante couldn't finish the play. Amador Menendo took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 82 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Grêmio Meia Praia's Amador Menendo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Menendo in the 85th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Gino Pombal made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Meia Praia's Gino Pombal. But to his dismay, Gino Pombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grêmio Meia Praia fully deserved thier win.
