Cassius Byrne dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 11th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Nentakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 14th minute of play forced S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Vassilis Nentakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frits van Gaal got free with Marco Day in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Vasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Vassilis Nentakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 43rd minute of play forced S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Vassilis Nentakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Pindorama Eagles from getting a goal against them. When S.E. But to his dismay, Edward Mcdonald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Vassilis Nentakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 70th minute of the match. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Magheran in the 73rd minute of the match. After 75 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vassilis Nentakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. S.E. Pindorama Eagles made a substitution. Róbson Velasco replaced Luis Vasquez. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Vassilis Nentakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Magheran came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, USA's Vassilis Nentakis threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Khalid Parry, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 86 minutes into the match, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Vassilis Nentakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Campbell. In the 89th minute Róbson Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Róbson Velasco put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Day. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Velasco in the 93rd minute of play. Vassilis Nentakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 95th minute. Despite being the better team, USA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
