Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cyprian Oliszewski took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Kosakowski in the 7th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyprian Oliszewski got free with Rolando Noboa in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cyprian Oliszewski went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Virgil van Dijk in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 20 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Oliver Kan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gică Bogdan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, ORIZABA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Beattie to maneuver through the defense. ORIZABA F.C.'s Oliver Kan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Cyprian Oliszewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st match minute, ORIZABA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil van Dijk to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Oliver Kan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Oliver Kan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 56th minute of the match, Eliseo Mina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oliver Kan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 62nd minute of play forced ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Oliver Kan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ORIZABA F.C.'s zone, Eliseo Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Kan came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Kosakowski in the 67th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ORIZABA F.C.'s Oliver Kan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save ORIZABA F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Oliszewski in the 76th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Kan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. In the 83rd minute, Virgil van Dijk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Oliver Kan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by ORIZABA F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliseo Mina was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Milagros Fraga managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 90th minute, Edelmiro Ramone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseo Mina got free with Oliver Kan in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eliseo Mina struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Oliver Kan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. ORIZABA F.C. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
