After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 41st minute. 47 minutes into the match, Feliks Nieruchliwy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliks Nieruchliwy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliks Nieruchliwy to strike the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Patricio Salamon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 58th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Salamon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Nieruchliwy in the 61st minute of play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliks Nieruchliwy in the 62nd minute of play. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Remigio Mikelats, made in the 82nd minute of the game. Feliks Nieruchliwy scored 2-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Nieruchliwy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Salamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Nieruchliwy in the 95th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Although Soflov FC had been in control for most of the match, Honduras still came away with the win.
