Encarale a la gordita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Falconetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Shao Shu Lang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrinho Falconetti in the 39th minute. After 42 played minutes Encarale a la gordita got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Bernabel. In the 45th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. 武光星 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Encarale a la gordita's Jurand Sienkowski was substituted for 武光星. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Pedrinho Falconetti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jurand Sienkowski struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Encarale a la gordita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 62nd minute of play forced Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Shao Shu Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jurand Sienkowski scored 3-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Jurand Sienkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Jurand Sienkowski scored 4-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, Jurand Sienkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Encarale a la gordita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 77 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Falconetti came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinho Falconetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Sienkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jurand Sienkowski in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Sienkowski in the 91st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pedrinho Falconetti came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Encarale a la gordita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrinho Falconetti couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Encarale a la gordita's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
