The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the game, Vinícius Junior recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Vinícius Junior showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazıl Korkutalp in the 17th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dário Veríssimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of the match. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The nice shot from Vinícius Junior in the 33rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Julio Vera had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Junior in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's Fazıl Korkutalp got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Dário Veríssimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's goalkeeper Dário Veríssimo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bóas Bolas hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Junior in the 54th minute of play. Bóas Bolas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinícius Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Dário Veríssimo made a huge save. Dário Veríssimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Junior in the 75th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC made a substitution. Jedrzej Bazan replaced Bóas Bolas. In the 77th minute ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC were awarded a corner. Memphis Depay went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Vinícius Junior got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-0. 78 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Veríssimo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Veríssimo came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jedrzej Bazan's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jedrzej Bazan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jedrzej Bazan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
