Charlie Hennenberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Ice Valley FC's zone, João Carlos Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Abilio came out of the goal and João Carlos Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, João Carlos Soeiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albino Abilio, 6-1. In the 37th match minute, Ice Valley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Tab to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, Leão de Judá's Severino Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albino Abilio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. If Armando Oriche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Ice Valley FC defense, Severino Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albino Abilio. The Ice Valley FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albino Abilio should have stopped the shot. Albino Abilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano De Bruyne in the 59th minute of the match.
