In the 79th minute D.J. 武磊 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When D.J. 武磊 came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Victoria Toruń fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that D.J. 武磊 couldn't finish the play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhu Yan Quan in the 93rd minute of play. Victoria Toruń's Borys Poreda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Victoria Toruń from getting a goal against them.
