Fred Samuelsson charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A hard shot 18 in the game by Karl-Michael Vidman from a close distance when the talented Bruno Barrett managed to make a qualified save. Curacao's players were relieved. Vitå's Kurt Bivall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanley Wallace in the 28th minute of play. Marshall Graham charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marshall Graham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Michael Vidman's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Stanley Wallace scored 2-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kurt Bivall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kurt Bivall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Davies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanley Wallace's late challenge caught a Vitå's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stanley Wallace helped the player get up and apologised. Stanley Wallace hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Michael Kinell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lochlan Newman hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Charles Cox kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Kenny Alberg came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Vitå fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenny Alberg couldn't finish the play. Kenny Alberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Boberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Harvey Doyle hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Karl-Michael Vidman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Michael Vidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. The supporters of Curacao booed when Vitå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Boberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Bivall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Graham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Stanley Wallace could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Kurt Bivall however easily saved by the left post. In the 80th minute, Hans Boberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute Hans Boberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Boberg charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans Boberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vitå getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Hans Boberg hit a great ball. Vitå were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
